Caribbean Fall 2007
This Fall I was very fortunate to visit numerous Caribbean Islands as well as the ICW, Florida Keys and the Chesapeake Bay. I delivered a 28′ Grady White from Barbados to Miami in 11 days (Yes, I am crazy). A Formula 40′ from Baltimore to Puerto Rico in 17 days. A 47′ Passport Beaufort, NC to Hopetown, Abacos in 5 days. A Morgan 45′ Tampa to St Maarten in 14 days. Grand Banks 46′ Tampa to Ft Lauderdale in 4 days. Each of these trips have their own special story for me.
The islands, the many miles of blue water, but most of all the company of the many great crew members and boat owners that I was fortunate enough to talk into going with me on these adventures. What a great group of men and women. I have learned so much from each of them this year. I think this is why I keep doing this. I even got to know some of the Customs Officials by name and now they recognize me in the Bahamas and Turks. I went through Provenciales, in the Turks, 3 times this Fall.
